Monday 7 April

Today I when I was walking home from school I found a dog that looked lost, it was very small and young so it wasn't house trained and I read the collar and took the dog home. The house was on the same street as mine so I didn't have to take a detour. The woman who owned the dog was in tears when I found him. I felt good that I brought someones beloved pet back to them. I think the woman felt relived and thankful that I found her dog I know she was feeling this way because the look on her face when I brought in the dog was of relief and she thanked me many times.

Sunday 6 April

Today I made a difference when my friend had basketball trials for his school coming up and he asked me to train him. Normally i wouldn't give it my all but this time I trained him like I train myself. I know I made a difference because he thanked me again and again. I felt good that I helped him get better at basketball. I think he felt good that I helped him because his trials were coming up I know he was feeling this way because he thanked me again and again.

Saturday 5 april
Today I made a difference when I helped my dad mow the lawns and I didnt ask for money as I usually do.I know I made a difference because the grass was long and now it is short and my dad was very happy. I felt good because before my brother couldn't play in it and now he can. I know my dad felt happy because he didn't have to do it
Friday 4 april
Today I made a difference by emptying the dishwasher for my loving parents. I know I made a difference because my mother was very tired and I did some of her work for her. I felt extraordonary when my mum thanked me and gave me a big kiss. I think that she felt happy that I did some work and didn't have to be told to do it.

Thursday 3 April

Today I made a difference when I saw a lady struggling with her shopping when I was on my way home from school. I stopped to help her carry her bags to the door then she offered me $2 but I said no thank you. I felt surprised that my first instinct was to help her, this unit we have been doing has helped me be a better person. I think the lady felt shocked and happy that I stopped to help her because you don't see that much these days. I know she was feeling this way because the look on her face was both shocked and happy.

Wednesday 2 April

Today I made a difference by setting the table for dinner and that is not something I would normally do. It made me feel good to help make someone else's life easier. I know that I made a difference because normally my mum would be doing 10 things at once but today I made it 9.
I think my mum felt happy that I helped her out and I know that she felt this way because she thanked me again and again.
Tuesday 1 april

Today I made a difference when I helped a little boy find his friends classroom and I knew where the classroom was because I used to go to that school.
I know I made a difference because he thanked me.
I think he felt really relieved that he had someone to help him find the class.
